Zoopla has reported that in the three years since it launched, it has delivered over 15 million property inquiries from consumers to agents.
Zoopla says it now has 12,500 estate agent, letting agent and property developer members, and that in June alone, the site sent over 750,000 leads to its members – or one every three seconds.
With the recent completion of its merger with Digital Property Group, the combined number of inquiries delivered by the enlarged group, once fully integrated, is likely to be much higher, says the site.
Zoopla has also launched a number of further exclusive partnerships in just the past month which include The Telegraph, plus more controversially with the Independent and London Evening Standard, which simultaneously launched a free lettings listings site for landlords, which cuts out agents.
Alex Chesterman, founder and CEO of Zoopla, said: `Our business is about helping house hunters find their next home and connecting them with agents and developers marketing the properties that they are interested in.
`We are delighted to be able to match so many house hunters to suitable properties every day and to be able to provide this level of inquiries and exposure to our members.
`Our goal is to be the most effective marketing partner to our members, and we will continue to invest to ensure this is the case.`
