Zoopla has scored a first by allowing property videos to be played on its site.
The launch of Property Movies is in partnership with VistaBee, a real estate video company.
ZPG’s Property Movies, which can be ordered via Zoopla Pro, are embedded and integrated within the property listing details.
Zoopla said the movies are designed to enhance the consumer experience by ensuring that property listings stand out, and to act as a vendor retention tool.
The movies also have the added benefit of being easy to share via social media and email.
The launch comes as recent research from Google shows that video is the fastest form of online advertising and that 46% of consumers are more likely to seek out information about a product or service after seeing it in an online video.
Andy Hill, business services director of Zoopla Property Group, said: `Given the speed at which this form of advertising is growing, it’s great to be able to offer this to our members who wish to ensure their listings stand out from the crowd.`
An example of one of Property Movies can be seen at the link below, but as an aside, EAT wonders why all property videos seem to play the same annoying backing music.
